 'Balima’ in our Yuwaalaraay Language meaning heaven, sky camp.

We have put together luxurious linen, timeless bespoke furniture matched with our locally sourced accessories. 

The only thing you need to worry about is bringing yourself or your favourite loved one, then kicking back and taking in our outback heavenly skies.

You will have your own private campfire to relax around after exploring all that Lightning Ridge and our farm has to offer.

Our open-air bathhouse, fitting with our landscape is unique with the finer touches to enjoy a hot shower or bath to relax before retiring to your retreat.

Our Balima is the ideal location for time out with a friend or a couple's retreat.

'Balima' is a 6x4M Bell tent, she proudly boasts:

• Queen bed and luxurious linen

• Tea and coffee-making facilities.

A whopping 6M Bell tent. Can accommodate up to 6 people.
 

Keeping with our theme here at Carinya, we encourage our guests to ‘Disconnect to reconnect’.
 

She is a fully off-grid and proudly boasts:

• A queen and 4 single beds (Max 6)
• All linen, blankets and towels
• Drinking Water
• Crockery, Cutlery, cooking utensils
• Tea and coffee-making facilities
• Gas BBQ
• Private campfire 
• Wood pack. Extra wood is available for purchase.
• Picnic table
• Shared long drop toilet

**This glamping option doesn't have showering facilities. The Artesian baths provide showers, which are located in town on the way to our station. **
